Delete your PowerHop account

You can ask us to delete your PowerHop account and the personal data we hold about you at any time.

How to ask

Email support@powerhop.ng from the email address on your account with the subject "Delete my account". We will confirm we have received it and may ask you to confirm your identity. You can also raise the request from the Support section inside the app.

What happens

If you have an active subscription, we first close it and collect the PowerHop Unit, which PowerHop owns. Any solar panel you paid for stays yours. We then delete your account and personal data, including your identity document, contact details and address.

What we keep

Records the law requires us to keep, such as records of payments, are retained for the legally required period and then deleted. They are not used for anything else.
